Psychiatrists are specialists in mental health. They can treat a variety of illnesses, such as anxiety and depression. They can also assist with the side effects of cancer treatment like fatigue and changes in thinking.

She is involved in teaching, facilitating various workshops and lecturing to students studying for their MRCPsych course at Oxford and St George's NHS Trust. She has a patient-centric approach.

Dr Saad Al-Khalaf

Dr Saad al-Khalaf is a consultant general psychiatrist with a wealth of experience is based in Guildford. He also covers a portion of Hampshire and London. He specialises in the treatment of persistent mental illness and psychiatry for older adults. He has a particular interest in organic psychopathology, anxiety and depression (especially treatment-resistant depression) and memory impairments, including dementia. He is also very interested in assessments of mental capacity.

He graduated as a doctor in the year 1971. He then completed a general medicine residency at St Charles, St George and the Maudsley Hospitals in London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and has been working as a private psychiatrist in the region since 2005.

He is currently employed at the Nuffield Guildford Hospital, as well as the Priory Hospital, Woking. He does not hold any paid job and he does not have shares or financial interests in the equipment utilized by this hospital or any other Nuffield Health hospital.

Dr Jennifer Laidlaw

Jennifer Laidlaw completed her MD at the University of British Columbia (UBC) before completing her residency in psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She was involved in medical education during her residency and has presented and published at international conferences on topics such as delirium screening, social media, and professionalism. She spent the beginning of her career as the Head of Consultation Liaison (CL) Psychology at Surrey Memorial Hospital where she concentrated on establishing a flourishing and highly collaborative CL service that provides psychiatric care to patients on surgical and medical wards as well as the palliative and oncology units. She was also awarded an Facilities Engagement grant to develop guidelines on how to manage vulnerable patients at the hospital.

She is also the Provincial Practice director for Psychiatry in BC Cancer, Clinical Associate professor at UBC, and the Past-President BC Psychiatric Association. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and an adjunct faculty participant in the UM PM&R and Family Medicine residency programs. She has been interested for a long time in research and education on musculoskeletal issues. She teaches Neuromuscular Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine to the Family Medicine Residents. She is also involved in ongoing research projects in electrodiagnostic medical musculoskeletal, and performing arts-medicine.

Dr. Pulkit Sing completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales before finishing her Psychiatry Residency at the University of British Columbia. While in training she was awarded the Psychotherapy Award and an Undergraduate Teaching Award to recognize her achievements in these areas. She has worked in a variety of Psychiatry areas and has a special interest in Cardiac Psychiatry.

She has a strong interest in Psycho-oncology and particularly is a fan of working with older adults. She has a longstanding interest in geriatric psychiatry and has served as a consultant at the Geriatric Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service (GPCLS) and the ECT Service at Vancouver General Hospital. She is a mentor and teacher for medical residents and students.

Dr. Theresa Lo

Dr Theresa Lo completed medical school and a psychiatry residency at the University of British Columbia. She has worked at the BC Cancer Agency, Surrey Mental Health and UBC Sleep Disorders Centre. She also has a psychotherapy practice that she has been practicing for a while which includes dialectical behavioural therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She is fluently able to speak Cantonese.

Dr. Karim is an active member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and was trained at Guy's King's St Thomas', St George's and St George's Hospitals in London. She is an active member of the Specialist Register for the General Medical Council and has been in psychiatry practice for more than 20 years. She is interested in child and adolescent psychotherapy.

Dr. Richford began her career as a nurse and then she studied medicine at Dalhousie. She received her MD in 1996. She has worked in a variety of Psychiatry areas such as Addiction Psychiatry as well as Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Psycho-oncology and many more. She is a psychiatrist on staff for Providence Health Care, Vancouver General Hospital BC Cancer-Vancouver and an Associate Professor at UBC. She was also the past president of the British Columbia Psychiatric Association.

Dr Margaret Wong

Dr. Margaret Wong, a renowned medical expert, is dedicated to enhancing healthcare services. She regularly attends medical conferences and workshops in order to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in medical technology. She also conducts research and publishes results to contribute to the medical knowledge. In addition she is a devoted community member and philanthropist.

She has worked in a variety of different settings including private practices and community mental health clinics. She has extensive experience working with teenagers, children, and adults. Her enthusiasm for her work has earned her numerous awards and recognitions. She has been awarded the Margaret Ireland Award, given by the Women's City Club. She was also named to the "Women of Influence" list in Crain's Cleveland Business and Cleveland Magazine.

Dr. Wong is affiliated with Mount Sinai Health System. She accepts a variety of insurance plans. Her office is at Stephen S Wan MD PLLC, New York. She has been in practice for more than 15 years. She graduated from ROSS UNIVERSITY/SCHOOL of MEDICINE & VETERINARY MEDICINE. She has received a very high rating from patients. She is a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a member of the Association of Physicians and Surgeons of Ohio and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is an adjudicator on the Eighth Judicial District Court as well as the Federal Sixth Circuit Court.
